What Are Locked Pages?
Locked Pages are centrally managed pages created in the Library and reused across multiple Microspaces. Their purpose is to keep shared content consistent and controlled across teams, clients, or templates.
A Locked Page works like an embedded component. When included in a Microspace, its content is pulled directly from the Library and cannot be modified by Editors. This makes them useful for content that should not vary across contexts—such as standard About pages, onboarding instructions, or disclaimers.
Only Library Admins can create and edit Locked Pages. Editors can view and place them inside a Microspace, but cannot make changes to the content.
Why use Locked Pages
- Consistency at scale: Keep a single version of shared content in sync across many Microspaces.
- Central control: Only designated Admins can update locked content.
- No accidental edits: Editors can add and position a Locked Page, but not change it.
- Live updates: Changes made in the Library appear automatically wherever the Locked Page is used.
Locked Pages are especially valuable for organizations that want to ensure consistent, reusable content across different Microspaces without the overhead of duplicating and maintaining it in multiple places.
