How Library Admins Manage Locked Pages

Library Admins are responsible for creating and maintaining Locked Pages within Microspace Templates. These pages are centrally managed and can be reused across Microspaces and other templates.

Creating a Locked Page

To create a Locked Page, go to the Library and open a Microspace Template. Add a new page and include any standard content, such as text, images, or file upload areas. When ready, click the lock icon to lock the page.

You can also lock an existing regular page by opening it in the template editor and clicking the lock icon. Once a page is locked, it becomes centrally managed and cannot be edited outside the Library. Locked Pages cannot be unlocked, ensuring content stability across all places where they are used.

Editing Locked Pages

Locked Pages can be edited directly in the Library, just like any other page. Any updates you make will be reflected instantly across all Microspaces and templates that use the page.

This allows you to maintain consistency at scale without requiring editors to manually update content in individual Microspaces.

Reusing Locked Pages

Once created, a Locked Page can be added to other templates using the "Add from template" option. When reused in this way, it stays connected to the original version. Updates made to the Locked Page will automatically appear wherever it is used.

This setup is useful for content like for example About pages or legal disclaimers that need to remain consistent across different use cases.

Deleting Locked Pages

Locked Pages can only be deleted if they are not currently used in any Microspace or template. This restriction prevents accidental content breaks across active Microspaces.

Viewing Usage

Library Admins can see how many Microspaces currently use each Locked Page, making it easier to manage shared content at scale.
